I've been using YouTube to host all the video I posted in my blog. He suggested me to have a look at Metacafe. I registered myself to Metacafe this afternoon, unfortunately I haven't been able to successfully upload my own video to test it out. I try it out from office and home still no success.
Anyway, those of you interested to see the collection of videos I've uploaded to my YouTube account, you can click here. I'm also putting "My YouTube" link in the right sidebar under "My zone".

On the other matters.
- My mandarin class just completed last Monday. Examination is next Monday. I need to do some revision. I also need to post Class #7, #8, #9 and #10 to my blog.
- The Missus and Syaza on shopping trip to KL.

Anyway, the missus went to "Kadai Komunis" 3 weeks back to convert two video tapes to VCD format. The first tape was her graduation day and the second tape was our wedding ceremony. Here's the graduation day clip of her and her classmates. You might recognise one of her classmate.

Notes :
- To my suprise, I heard annoucement from "Lance Armstrong" for doing my best mile.
- I stop my iPod around one minute before the treadmill stop. The distance reading is totally off.

Last night, me and da missus decided to watch 300 at the Empire cinema. I didn't see the movie reviews or trailers before that. I only saw the 300 movie posters. I thought this might be a good action movie.
What is it all about?
It's about 300 Spartan soldiers the King takes to save his nation to fight Xerxes and the massive Persian army. The Spartan soldiers is simply amazing. They are very brave, strong and everyone is like a body builder.
You got to watch the movie to find out more. However, if you want to see the trailers you can click here.
Also be prepare to see lots of heads, legs, arms being chop off. It's R rated.

Today I did my second Nike+iPod run. I started out with 1KM calibration run then stop and restart the treadmill. I also felt hungry before starting the run. Half way through the run I felt my energy level was low due to the empty stomach. I didn't run all the way for 60 minutes. Check out my run summary below :
Speed against time
8.7km/h for 0 - 20 minutes
9.0km/h for 20 - 22 minutes

Inclination : 1.0

Note :
The reading from my Nike+iPod is still not the same as the treadmill display. The Nike+iPod reading show I'm doing 8.91KM which is 110 metre faster than the treadmill reading!
Next run, I'm going to do a calibration walk again.
Labels: Exercise, Nike+iPod Run, Running
As mention in my previous post, I started out with two calibration (walk and run). I did it on the smaller treadmill as the bigger one was fully occupied. During the calibration walk I notice the readings on my iPod is faster than what is display on the treadmill. I'm assuming that the treadmill is accurate. I'm confident my walk calibration is set properly, however half way through my calibration run I realise I didn't actually remember what distance on the treadmill display I started my run. I didn't want to restart the calibration so I just guess when to stop the 1K calibration.
Checkout my run summary :
Speed against time
5.0km/h for 30 seconds
8.5km/h for 30 secs - 15 minutes
8.7km/h for 15 - 20 minutes
9.0km/h for 20 - 30 minutes
** towel on display at 25 minutes point. Good thing the iPod announce the run time every 5 minutes. I was only looking at the running speed till the 55 minutes point.
9.2km/h for 30'17" - 40'17" minutes 9.5km/h for 40'17"- 55'17" minutes

Below the Nike+iPod results. It's showing that I did 9.65km in 60 minutes. That's 530 metre difference. Next session, I will do a calibration run first. I don't think I need to do the calibration walk again.

1. Do a calibration run also to check whether the measurement is correct. Here's how I plan to do it.
- 1KM run at 8.5KM/H
- 1KM walk at 5.0KM/H
It was a good dinner and the guests seems to enjoy the entertainment. Check out a couple of videos below I took last night and btw... one of my guest is Mr. Singapore 2003. You can check out more of his photo here.

Anyway, I went to the gym this morning to register the group membership. To all my group members, you need to collect your membership card yourself at the gym counter. Please bring a photocopy of your IC along. Just tell them under "reza" group.
Bruneian also decided to go for a swim this afternoon. I believe this is the first time Bruneian go to the JPMC gym. Show him the place and the facilities available there. Hope he enjoy his swim!
