On the way back from Kampung Melilas last Monday trip, we stop over at Kampung Sukang. Kampung Sukang is 2 hours boat ride from Sungai Mau. It's more develop than Kampung Melilas. There's a Police Post, Health Clinic and a Multipurpose Hall & Government Resthouse which I didn't see any in Kampung Melilas.

Went for a run after work today. I was determine to do a one hour run around the Jerudong Park playground. Glad I did it as tonight I had also planned to go out for buffet dinner at Airport Restaurant (Seafood night).
Did 2 laps of the blue route and 1 lap of the red route below. Completed it in just over an hour.

Finally, I manage to go to Kampung Melilas. This is my first time there. Took us around 2 hours 40 minutes to reach there by boat from Sungai Mau. Took some photos and videos there. Also signed the visitors book in the Longhouse.

Overall.... very nice trip, good experience, tiring (especially total around 5 hours sitting down in the small boat) and at least I can say that I've been to Melilas.

The exerciser
No running for today. Feeling abit tired and my left calf muscle feeling a little strain.
Anyway... yesterday after work I went or a jog at JP. I don't really say it's a run as I'm doing it at a very slow pace. Did 2 laps of the blue route and 1 lap of red route below. Jog for around 53 minutes. I was targetting to jog for one hour but my left calf muscle gave up. Felt satisfy after the jog.

Yesterday, me and my colleague was suppose to do a site survey at Melilas. We started out our journey from office (Kiulap) around 7:40am. I've already made an appointment to meet up with a couple of Telbru staffs nearby Sungai Liang Mosque by 8:30am.
From Sungai Liang we drove to Sungai Mau which is around 10 to 15 minutes drive at Jalan Labi. At Sungai Mau a small boat waited us to bring us to Melilas. Since now is a rainy season, I was told that it should only take us around 3 hours to reach our destination by boat. If it were dry season it can take more than 4 hours to reach there.

Almost one hour into our boat ride suddenly our boat engine broke down. The boat driver told us that we have no choice but to row back to Sungai Mau. 5 minutes then we saw a boat approaching us... it's the Melilas Imam going back to Melilas. We stop him... our boat driver ask him if he can pull us back to Sungai Mau which he willingly accepted. 
It took almost 2 hours for us to go back as we can't really go that fast! We were actually lucky.... for one hour I didn't see any other boat pass by us.

We decided to go back home and will arrange another trip early next week. Reach home... took a nap... then decided to go for a run at Jerudong Park area.

The missus and Syaza went for a day trip to Miri today. Send them to their cousin house before 6am. Went back home but can't sleep, text him whether there's a Jing Chew session this morning. Had breakfast with AnakBrunei and his missus, Ber, Nikonian and SoulJah at Jing Chew.
After breakfast decided to stop by Jerudong Park to take some photos and videos of the motorbike and go kart race. Met up with Aku, Airbiscuit, Jim and RJ63. He was also there!

Motorbike racers got to wait for their turn for the time trial. Each rider given 3 laps for the time trials. First lap is just a warm up lap. Fastest time from lap 2 or 3 taken to determine their pole position.
After the motorbike time trial it was the go-karters turn. I was expecting to see the race but decided to go back home as I was feeling tired and sleepy. Not sure what time they started the race today!

After work instead of going to the gym, I decided today I do an outdoor run. Went to Jerudong Park. I've not run around Jerudong Park almost 6 months. It was nearly 6pm so I decided to do 2 rounds and try to finish my run before the azan.
My run route
Based on my previous measurement, one round is approximately 2.3KM therefore 2 rounds should be 4.6KM. However, my Nike+iPod is showing that I had run at a distance of 4.21KM. Hmmm... doesn't really matter, so long as I get my exercise today I'm happy!

Past few weeks have been one of the busiest week at work. I'm expecting another 2 more busy weeks. Hopefully after that can relax abit.
Took this photo 2 days back. It's a radar antenna. The tall structure is a lightning protection pole supposedly preventing any direct lightning hit to the radar antenna. I notice that the lightning or thunderstorm especially this year is get stronger than usual.

I have not been playing with the Rubiks cube for so many months already. Try it just now and I realized my speed reduced and my eyes didn't spot the colour as fast as before.

Got this Canon G7 last month and felt it's time to get some accessories in the following order. Here are the accessories I like to get.
So how about the external flash?
Not so much a priority now since my father-in-law have a Canon Speedlite 430EX that I can borrow. However if I can get a good deal from someone, I'll probably buy it :)

It was a nice cool rainy morning today. Went to Jing Chew to meet the guys. Reach there around 7:30am and found out that I'm the first to be there. Saw Mr. Fu so I invited him to join. Knew him for almost 7 years already when I was still working in JTB. Airbiscuit, AnakBrunei, Ber and RanoAdidas later on came and join the fun!
