I'm already back in Brunei since yesterday. The missus flew off to Singapore this morning for a 2 weeks training.
On the 3rd day in New Delhi. The group went for a meeting and site visit to a company in India. I had to skip it as I had a stomach problem that day.
In the evening we flew off to Bangalore and check in to the Leela Palace Hotel at the Royal Club floor.

I'm thinking of selling my Canon Powershot G7 complete with all the accessories.
The G7 is the second digital camera I've ever bought. My first digital camera is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7. Main reason I bought the G7 was I still want a "point and shoot" camera but with a "hot shoe".
I think the G7 have almost all the function of Canon DSLR cameras. Checkout all the buttons and dials it has below. Off course, the easiest way to use it is to set it to auto-mode but then what's the fun in that.

I have the Canon Lens Wide-Converter (0.75x) WC-DC58B which takes wide angle shot down to around 26mm equivalent.
G7 with WC-DC58B
The camera is less than one year old (there's around 6 months warranty period left).

With the Canon flash and the wide angle lens attach to the G7, doesn't it look like a DSLR camera!
Ok.... here's the deal. As of today, the price at QQestore is BND 775/= for the camera, BND 328/= for the Wide-Converter and BND 298/- for the Tele-Converter. I'm giving 30% discount on the camera and 20% discount on the Wide & Tele-Converter.
Option 1 :
G7 + Wide-Converter + Tele-Converter
542.50 + 262.40 + 238.40 = 1043.30
I'll let it go for BND 1,000/=
Option 2 :
G7 only for BND 542.50/=
Wide & Tele-Converter only for BND 500/=
FYI... I took the photos in my previous post with my G7, the first 2 photos I took it using the Tele-Converter lens, the 3rd photo I took it with the Wide-Converter lens.
If you interested, email me at rezafaizal@gmail.com
Checkout the video review below.

I also have the Canon Lens Tele-Converter (2.0x) TC-DC58C which will extend the 210mm optical zoom to 420mm.

I saw a very small notebook this morning at QQStation Centerpoint Gadong. It's an Asus Eee PC 701 selling for BND 698.00. I felt tempted to buy it.... Actually tempted to get the missus to buy it for me ;) since it's bonus day for her ... hint hint ;)

I'm back in Brunei. Reach home nearly midnight on Sunday. Slept around 2am. Initially plan to take leave yesterday but have to cancel since I need to attend a couple of meetings yesterday. Still felt very tired from the trip. Left office around 6pm. Had dinner at home then went to my parent house.
Slept around 10pm last night, woke up 2am! Did some writeup for the customer and now I'm still working. Hopefully tonight I can get a good rest.
On Sunday, we had lunch at Adam Food Centre. Tryout the supposedly No. 1 Nasi Lemak in Singapore. The stall name is Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak. BTW... we went there around 2pm, had to queue for our nasi lemak order and I see the queue never stop.
I ordered Set E (they call it "Full House").

If you watch Astro channel 703 (Food Channel). There's 2 shows there I like to watch. The first one is "Gila Makan", the other one is "Makan Sutra".
Yesterday morning we went to Warong Nasi Pariaman for our breakfast. It's one of the place recommended by Makan Sutra and got the "die, die must try" rating.

Just finished reading Blink : The Power of Thinking Without Thinking. Interesting book would recommend others to read it.
Picture from here

Here's a puzzle from the book :
A man and his son are in a serious car accident. The father is killed, and the son is rushed to the emergency room. Upon arrival, the attending doctor looks at the child and gasps, "This child is my son!" Who is the doctor?
The only way you can get the answer is if it comes to you suddenly in the blink of an eye.

I think the OSIM iPen is the coolest pen I've ever seen. It's not just a pen, the tip of the pen is the "world's smallest accupressure massager". My mother-in-law got this pen for the missus from her Singapore trip.
Pen comes in two colour i.e. Champagne or Black. Personally I would prefer the Black colour. Inside the box there's a mini booklet showing which part of the face or body you can place the massager and how does it helps you.
Looking at the price from the web, I definitely will buy one for myself. Will checkout whether it's available in Hua Ho.

No running for today. Feeling abit tired and my left calf muscle feeling a little strain.
Anyway... yesterday after work I went or a jog at JP. I don't really say it's a run as I'm doing it at a very slow pace. Did 2 laps of the blue route and 1 lap of red route below. Jog for around 53 minutes. I was targetting to jog for one hour but my left calf muscle gave up. Felt satisfy after the jog.

Went to QQestore before Friday prayer to pick up my order. While I was checking my order, AnakBrunei came in.... also want to pick up his order. Hmmm... Big boys does like to buy new toys. Call up the store boss that I'm around. AnakBrunei got to introduce himself to Nicky and told him that he would like to do an interview for an article on CNET Asia.
Cut story short... three of us went downstair for "Teh Tarik" and continue our chat.
My QQestore experiences
I order my new toy Tuesday afternoon. Since this is my first purchase with QQestore, I got to register myself as a member first. The online registration is quite simple and take just 2 to 3 minutes. Once registered, you just choose the item you want to buy and confirm. See below :
8 May 2007
[3:40pm] Register myself with QQestore through their website. Received SMS with the password. Start shopping for my new toy.
[3:44pm] QQestore sent out a SMS saying that they received the order with the order number and you can check it online the order status.
[4:24pm] Received SMS saying that my order status has been updated to "WAITING STOCK ARRIVAL"
11 May 2007
[12:21am] Received SMS from QQestore saying that my order status has been updated to "READY FOR COLLECTION"
[1:35pm] Received SMS from QQestore saying that my order status has been updated to "COLLECTED".
I'm glad that it only took 3 days for my order to arrive. Here's a tip... if you like to order anything from QQestore, best day to order is on Mondays.

He requested me to post regarding this. So here it is.
If you looking for a Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) for outdoor and exercise activities then I fully recommend the Polar HRM monitors. It's basically a watch with a heart strap sensor. However Polar also have models for running, cycling or both.
The watch that I have is Polar S625X. This watch can be use to capture both running and cycling data. The sensor for the bicycle is optional (have to purchase separately). What's included in the box is the watch, heart strap, Polar S1 foot pod and the software for Windows. The foot pod is attached to the running shoe. It has one button activation and is water resistant up to 2 meters.
The Polar watch and the foot pod basically work like the Nike+iPod but with much much more features (e.g. measuring altitude, temperature, etc). Just look at my Jerudong Park Run graphs I posted last year. From my observation, the Polar watch and foot pod sensor measurement is much more accurate compare to the Nike+iPod. I notice that the Nike+iPod sensor is very slow to detect if I suddenly slow down my running pace.
You can see the running and cycling data from the watch. If you want to display it as graph then you need to transfer it to your computer using infrared. So make sure your computer have infrared port otherwise you need to buy the USB infrared adaptor.
Where to buy?
The only place I've seen selling Polar watch in Brunei is at Fitness Zone, The Mall. Mine is more than one year already. It costs B$580 during that time. Actually I got mine as one of my birthday present from the missus. The optional bicycling sensor is around B$90 each. I bought two sensors (speed and cadence sensor). The speed sensor attach to the front wheel to measure the cycling speed and distance. The cadence sensor attach to the crank to measure the crank turn speed, measured in revolutions per minute (rpm).

A heart rate monitor is a tool that will help pace you. If you exercise too hard, you will most likely quit before you get the real benefit. We have all seen the person who gets on the treadmill, cranks it up to 8% grade and 8 mph, runs full out for 2 minutes, and gets off. ALL THEY DID WAS WASTE TWO MINUTES OF THEIR TIME!
On the other hand, there are people who exercise very leisurely and wonder why they can't lose any weight. If you workout too slowly, you won't get the exercise benefit either.
That's where the HRM comes in. It paces you during your workout. It's like having a personal trainer that tells you to slow down or speed up. Read more

Didn't have the mood to do any exercise yesterday. I was thinking of an excuse for me to skip exercise. Told the missus let's watch Mr Bean at Empire Cinema.
However, she wanted to bring the kids to watch Meet the Robinsons instead. Show started 7:20pm. We only brought Syaza and Fa'iz along, 'Aqiel stay back home.
Meet the Robinsons
Less that one minute into the movie, Fa'iz signal us he don't want to watch it and wanted to go out. Furthermore, tears started coming out of his eyes. Hmmm.... I brought him out. He didn't want to go back home instead he just want to hang around. So I just hang around with him at the waiting area for 1½ hours.
So what did we do? I just took some photos as you see here. Chat with some friends who were waiting for the Mr Bean 8:30pm show.
I can't say much about the Meet the Robinsons movie. Don't know what's it all about. Only saw the scene where the lady left the kids on the doorsteps.
That's the shortest movie I watch in any cinema.
Here's some more photos I took last night. Quality not so good as I was using a phone camera.
