Rest day

I'm taking a break from running today. Just relax, maybe "jalan-jalan" later. Went to Jing Chew this morning for breakfast with the gang (AnakBrunei, CPSBrunei, Dr. Zul, RanoAdidas and Ber). Will post up some of the photos I took this morning in my next post.

5K run

Decided not to go to gym today after work due to dark cloudy sky. Will go tomorrow most likely morning to do my run. However, I did manage to do a quick run yesterday after work. After doing my usual stretching, I warm up by cycling for 5 minutes at level 3 on the stationary bike. Stretch again while waiting for the big treadmill to be free. Can't run too long as I need to go back home earlier for a family gathering.

No Nike+iPod run

I manage to upload my Nike+iPod run data for yesterday run using my father-in-law Macbook Pro. However, I forgot to attach back the sensor to my iPod Nano before going to gym this afternoon. Only realize it when I was about to start my run.

When I reach the gym, the 3 big treadmills were occupied. After doing stretching and while waiting for one of the treadmill to be free, I decided to do some cycling to warm up the body. Cycle for 7 minutes before starting my run.

No Macbook run

My Macbook hard disk dead last Wednesday and I lost one whole year of data and emails in it. I sent my Macbook to the shop and now it's waiting for the new hard disk replacement from Apple. From now on I should backup my PC at least once a month, on second thought I'll get someone to help me backup my PC every month. I've order the new Dell XPS 1330 and it should come in next week. I'm thinking of trying out Vista with Dell and probably going to sell off my Macbook (maybe).

Had a very tiring run today. My running schedule lately have not been consistent and I think my stamina a bit low nowadays.

Must have Pen

I think the OSIM iPen is the coolest pen I've ever seen. It's not just a pen, the tip of the pen is the "world's smallest accupressure massager". My mother-in-law got this pen for the missus from her Singapore trip.

Pen comes in two colour i.e. Champagne or Black. Personally I would prefer the Black colour. Inside the box there's a mini booklet showing which part of the face or body you can place the massager and how does it helps you.

Looking at the price from the web, I definitely will buy one for myself. Will checkout whether it's available in Hua Ho.

I'm back in Brunei. Was in KL from Tuesday midnight till yesterday afternoon. Had few meetings with business partners. Overall it was a good trip.

This trip I stayed at Park Royal Hotel. This is my first time staying there. It's not really my first choice hotel. However I do find it comfortable and convenient staying there. Breakfast and internet access was already included in the room rates.

I actually booked for a king size bed, however I got a queen size bed.

Queen size bed

TV channels was a bit boring. No Astro, only Vision 4, Malaysia TV1, TV2 and TV3, ESPN, NHK, CNN and BBC.

What's unique about the room is there's no bath room. There's a shower room and toilet room which you can't lock. The sink area is between the bed and shower room.

The hotel is situated across Sungei Wang Plaza or beside Lot10 and Coronade Hotel.

NBT Spelling Game

I'm actually in Kuala Lumpur right now on a business trip. Arrived here yesterday midnight and will go back on Friday.

Anyway, checkout the "spelling game" video I capture during the 11th NBT Treasure Hunts. Very funny!

Below are some photos taken from the 11th NBT Treasure Hunts held on 8th July 2007.

This year I think our team did quite well. Hopefully next year we in the top 40.

The car below was the first car to reach ICC for the flag off. Apparently he arrived at ICC at 8:30pm the previous day!

First car to flag off

Last year our car was the 8th car in the queue. This year I came earlier and got the 5th position.

At 6:10am, all the treasure hunters were given a briefing.
